We use the service of the Razorpay payment service provider where you can pay through Debit, Credit, Wallet, UPI or Payment Links
What is the minimum order quantity for Alter?
Minimum order for alter app is 500 INR if you do not add minimum 500 INR worth of alteration service to your cart you will not be able to place the order.
How long the alteration process typically takes?
Alteration service typically takes 7 to 9 business days.
Do you offer express or rush alteration service?
Yes we do offer express or rush alteration service at extra cost.
Do you offer alteration service all over India?
Presently we are providing alteration services at select location in Mumbai and we will slowly start adding more location to our service area.
What is the process of doorstep alteration?
Once you order the alteration we will pickup the cloth from your house or office and once the alteration is done we will deliver it to your doorstep.
Is there cash on delivery option is available for alteration of cloths?
Cash on delivery is not available for alteration of cloths.
What types of cloth can be altered?
We alter many types of cloth and household items we will also add more category in coming months.
How much do alteration service cost?
Alteration service cost depends on type of alteration you do.
Are alteration reversible?
Maximum alteration are not reversible only few are reversible like loosening of waist for example.
How do I measure if I want to order alteration?
If you do not know how to take measurement you can send the perfect fitting cloth along with the alteration cloth we will measure it and do the alteration.
What should I do if there is an issue with my altered clothing upon delivery?
If there is issue with your altered clothing you can contact us and we will resolve the issue.
Custom Tailoring
Do you stitch ladies cloths also?
Currently we only do men’s clothing. In near future we have plann lo koed to start ladies wear cloth stitching also.
Do you offer custom stitching service all over India?
Presently we are providing stitching services for men’s at select location in Mumbai and we will slowly start adding more location to our service area.

What is the process of doorstep stitching?
Once you book a home visit through any mean we will pickup the cloth and once the stitching is done we will deliver it to your doorstep.
What will be the turnaround time?
At the time of booking you will be informed about the turnaround time. Normally it takes 7 business days
What is the minimum order value for custom tailoring?
Minimum order value for custom tailoring is ₹ 2000.
Do you provide trail also?
Yes you can avail the trail with extra cost of ₹200.
Pickup and Delivery
Do you offer pickup and delivery services for alteration clothing?
Yes we provide the pickup and delivery service for alteration clothing.
After how many days my alteration cloth will be picked up?
Once you order the alteration service at our website your alteration cloth will be picked up as soon as possible.
How do I schedule a pickup for my alteration clothing?
Once you place the order on Alter App you will get a call from us with pickup date detail of your alteration clothing.
In which areas do you offer pickup and delivery service?
Currently our service is available only in select location of Mumbai, Thane and Navi Mumbai. Also at the time of ordering the alter service at checkout page there will be option to select the location if your area is not there it means we currently do not serves that area.
How do I know if my alteration order is ready for pickup or delivery?
Pickup and Delivery is done by us so when we are out for pickup or delivery you will get a call from us.
What do I do to prepare my clothing for pickup?
You have to pack your cloth in normal carry bag which is allowed by the BMC in which all the cloth are fitted perfectly also make sure the carry bag is strong enough to carry the cloths.
How will be my altered garment delivered back to me?
Your altered cloth will be delivered to you in same carry bag in which it was picked up incase if your original carry bag is misplaced an alternate carry bag made with fabric will be arranged for delivery.
Do you offer contactless pickup and delivery?
Yes.
Do you provide a receipt or confirmation for the item picked?
Yes.
